Website Promotion
There are two ways to promote your website so that it appears on page one: 1. You can either keep paying each individual search engine a subscription or fee to appear there or, 2. You can pay a professional website promotion company once to make sure your website gets there the natural way.
The internet promised untold gains when it invaded our lives a few short years ago and every company and organisation invested in their own website. Most were disappointed with the response despite spending thousands advertising it and even redesigning failed to deliver results. The reason their websites failed to produce results was not because of bad design or lack of a nice flash entry page. The reason they failed is usually because those websites have not been promoted professionally, or even worse, promoted badly, by some cheap software, or by an amateur. Website promotion not performed by somebody that knows exactly what they are doing can result in your website being deleted or even blacklisted altogether and marked as a spammer.
It's not just companies like Argos, Tesco, Easyjet, etc, that are reaping the benefits from the internet. There are plenty of small and medium sized companies making a fat profit from cyberspace. The one thing they have in common is that they all appear on page one on search engines.
If you have an online shop or brochure site and want to increase business there is nothing better than to have your website listed on page one. It's like having an advertisement in the Yellow Pages of every town, county, and country in the entire world. More and more, people are dumping the Yellow Pages and simply logging on to a search engine and entering the "Keyword Phrase" they are looking for. It could be "Hotels in Dover" or "Fire Protection Equipment" or maybe "Pump Manufacturers in the UK" or even "Florists in Leeds".
When cousin Rachel gave birth to a darling baby daughter, her brother who lives in Australia chose a bouquet of flowers from the florist's website in Leeds. Companies are now booking almost everything online, from office supplies, couriers and mini-cabs to the man who fixes the photocopier. If you are in a niche business or produce a niche product you cannot afford to ignore the internet because it can specifically benefit you.
The importance of being on page one is paramount because most people (80%) choose their supplier from those they find on page one and only a tiny fraction go further than page two. If your website is not on the first page then your competitors could be stealing all your customers while they are searching for your website.
